If the Florida storms could hold off Thursday morning until after graduation, that'd be awesome.

"Record Number of Photons Lassoed Into Quantum Limbo (Again)"
It's really cool that they've managed to entangle so many photons in a NOON state, but it seems like any concrete benefits from it are going to be a few more years coming. Considering the state the economy is in right now, it seems as if the government would have cut funding in favour of more vital or more readily beneficial fields of research. Not totally sure if I think that would be the better thing to do or not. It's good to see that non-vital fields of Scientific study are still being explored and making headlines even though they're slow going and don't have immediate benefits, but at the same time it seems like it really pales in comparison to something like the remote-control pressure heart valve. What do other people think?
PWP: Matt Sawyer, Diane Dodge Senior Awards are at school tomorrow evening, if you want to come. Also, we're out of milk and pizza.
